The government doesn’t even know how bad it is…according to a representative of the government itself.
“Congress doesn’t even know what the real numbers are,” said Representative Jim Cooper, a Democrat from Tennessee.”
“The real national debt isn’t $17 trillion. I wish it were that low. The real national debt is closer to $60 or $80 trillion.”
How could it be that much higher than what is reported? Because the government doesn’t have the same accounting rules as everyone else.
